Lefteris Louvias, founder of Louvias Group, began his professional journey in the field of electrical installations. Today, after years of experience, the company has taken a new step forward, venturing into building construction. The experience and professionalism of Louvias Group, along with its drive for progress, led to the creation of unique buildings.

“The transition was demanding, but it was a natural evolution for us. Knowing a building’s needs ‘from the inside’, we wanted to create integrated projects that reflect our expertise. Our vision was to offer high-quality residences with real added value for both the owner and the community,” says Mr. Louvias.

Lefteris Louvias, originally from Livadia, Larnaca, spoke with SkalaTimes on the occasion of the inauguration of the LOUVIAS OASIS No.8 apartment building, which will take place this Saturday, June 7.

Louvias Group is a well-known name in Larnaca when it comes to electrical installations. Tell us a bit about how it all started and how the company evolved over the years.

Louvias Group started as a small business with a goal to provide reliable and high-quality electrical installations. It has been a journey full of challenges and valuable experiences that shaped us. With consistency, professionalism, and adaptability, we evolved into a strong presence in our field, serving homes, businesses, and apartment buildings all over Larnaca.

What are the key qualities that set your company apart in the field of electrical solutions for residential and multi-residential buildings?

We stand out thanks to our attention to detail, technical expertise, and our ability to provide customized solutions tailored to each client’s needs. We use modern materials and technologies, always focusing on safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

How challenging was the transition from electrical installations to residential building construction? What motivated you to take this new step?

It was a demanding transition, but a natural development for us. Understanding a building’s needs from the inside allowed us to envision complete projects that integrate our technical experience. Our goal was to offer high-quality residences that bring meaningful value to their owners and the surrounding community.

Your project LOUVIAS OASIS No.8 is about to be unveiled to the public. What can we expect from it? What are its main features? When and where is the opening taking place?

Louvias Oasis No.8 combines modern architecture, high-quality construction, and carefully designed communal spaces. The apartment building was designed with comfort and functionality in mind. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 19:00, in Livadia.

Given your extensive experience in electrical installations, do you place special emphasis on lighting in your buildings?

Absolutely. Lighting is very important to us. With years of experience in electrical installations, we fully understand the crucial role proper lighting plays in both the aesthetics and functionality of a building. We pay special attention to both interior and exterior lighting, choosing solutions that highlight the building, create a pleasant atmosphere, and offer safety.

How do you see the real estate market in Larnaca at the moment, and what is your philosophy when it comes to the quality and design of the apartment buildings you construct?

Larnaca is experiencing dynamic growth, especially in areas like Livadia. Our philosophy is clear: we create apartment buildings with a modern aesthetic, functional spaces, and high-quality materials, without cutting corners in construction or design.

To what extent does your family or local team participate in each stage of your projects—from planning to completion?

Our company is based on its family character and the local team we’ve built over the years. We actively participate in all stages: from selecting plots and architectural planning to construction and final delivery. This allows us to maintain quality control and build trust with our clients.

Do you have plans for new apartment buildings or development projects? If so, which areas are you focusing on?

We already have new residential development projects in the pipeline that will be announced soon. Our main focus is on the Livadia area, which has stable residential demand and significant development potential. This choice is no coincidence—it’s based on both investment criteria and our deep connection with the area.

Given your roots in Livadia, can we assume that some of your future apartment projects will be based there?

Certainly. Our origin from Livadia is an additional reason to strengthen our presence in the area. As part of our strategy, we place special emphasis on projects that not only meet market needs but also truly enhance the urban landscape of the community. Our goal is to create projects with lasting value and architectural quality.

What does the name “LOUVIAS” mean to you today, and how would you like the people of Larnaca to remember you in the future?

The name “LOUVIAS” carries a story of trust, reliability, and creation. We want to be remembered as a family and a team that worked with respect for people and the city, offering projects that stand the test of time and honor the values we began with.
